MATERIALS
LAMINATE
The laminate is a plastic material normally used for the coating of chipboard, MDF or veneered. The laminate is made by pressing layers of paper saturated with phenolic or with melanin. The laminate we use is of the same type of H.P.L. (High Pressure Laminate), is produced in sheets with thicknesses ranging from 5 / 10 of a millimeter to 20 millimeters. It's very durable and is used for bathrooms, kitchen floors and wherever you need for a very sturdy surface. Provides a wide range of choices of colors and imitation wood, reproducing even the pores of the wood and there are also metal laminates. |
MELAMINE
The melamine, or melamine, is a cheaper plastic laminate consisting of only a few layers of paper impregnated with resin applied on a chipboard panel. This material may reproduce the design, color and grain of natural wood. It is used for the realization of economic structures for cabinets and kitchen cabinets. |
SOLID WOOD
Wooden boards of different thicknesses and cured dried to reduce moisture content to acceptable levels for processing and subsequent stability of the artifact and most valuable materials, but also the most likely to undergo deformation as climatic variations in summer and winter. |
PLYWOOD
Panel formed three to five or more layers of veneer wood fibers crossed at 90', to ensure a consistent resistance to bending and a very good strength, usually madeof sheets of poplar, birch or the finest beech. When the layers totaling more than 5 sheets of plywood we speak. |
CHIPBOARD
Panel composed of wood particles obtained more or less finely mincing sawmill waste and timber unsuitable for obtaining wood. The panels are often covered with formica or plastic. Often we find them in the work plans of the modern kitchens of low cost. The chipboard is an inert, once the veneer is suitable for construction of doors because it is not crooked. It has very little resistance to water, but there are panels to be treated and even waterproof fireproof. This is a material derived from processing waste: thus beneficial effects for the environment. |
MDF
In commercio esistono diversi spessori. |
LAMINATED PANEL
Laminated panel consists of wood fibers finely prepared, linked by very strong glue. It's extremely compact and durable, unlike the particle board, can be cut and milled without risking crumbling. Thanks to the compactness of its surface, is the most suitable material for the coating. In market there are different thicknesses. |
EDGE
It consists of strips of woods of various solid wood, glued on the ends and along the edges to form panels of various thicknesses. It's very robust and lends itself to many uses, such as table tops, shelves, kitchen, mobile number, etc.. Compared to a table of wood the same size and the same essence, the laminated panel is more homogeneous and more stable. |
TAMBURATO
Our honeycomb is made from a pine wood frame (some manufacturers use particle board rejects), inside which was placed a material called "honeycomb", which can be wood or cardboard. This frame is pressed with two sheets of plywood or MDF, applied above and below. The honeycomb is still used for the construction of interior doors and furniture for structures with a thickness of 30 mm olre. egregious as it gives strength and allows you to limit the weight of the products.
